Southern California Edison has scheduled routine maintenance on the electrical equipment at the North Ski on October 27 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. It is necessary to temporarily turn off the power in that area so they can install upgrades or make repairs to the grid.

There have been reports throughout our region of an increased presence of mosquitos this year. Residents noticing a mosquito problem can contact the Northwest Mosquito and Vector Control District which works towards controlling the mosquitos in the northwest portion of Riverside County. The Main Gate middle lane gate is currently not functioning, and it is in the up position. A gate guard is at that gate authorizing access to vehicles. We are working with our vendor to get the gate repaired as soon as possible. This post will be updated once we have an ETA on when the gate will be fixed.

Additional card readers are being installed in the lanes that do not currently have them at all of the gates. Installation will begin at the Main Gate the first week of August. Anticipated resident lane closures will occur on August 10 through 11 with the goal of only closing one lane at a time. Residents are advised to use alternate East/North Gates as there may be delays at the Main Gate.

The remodeled restrooms at Happy Camp are now open for use over the long weekend, as planned. Final punch list items including path lighting, some tile and grouting in the showers, and other landscaping/clean-up work will be wrapped up next week.
