Work is scheduled on a communication line crossing the street in the East Gate exit lane on February 1 and February 2. The exit lane may be closed from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day, please follow construction signs. Residents are advised to use alternate Main and North Gates for a more expedited exit.

North Causeway One Lane Open Date: January 15, 2023 Time: 11:50 a.m. Please be advised that the North Causeway on Vacation Drive is down to a single lane due to flooding. Community Patrol is on-site directing traffic. Please use caution if you are driving through this area. This post will be updated as traffic conditions change. 

Please be advised that there is a Yellow Flag Warning on the lake at this time, which means that the speed limit on the Main Lake is restricted to 5MPH. Warning flags are posted at Holiday Harbor to the sides of the flagpole, and at the Eastport launch ramp. When there are no restrictions, there will be a Green Flag, when the Main Lake is closed to boat traffic, there will be a Red Flag [...].

Work is scheduled at the Big Tee entrance on Thursday, January 12. The entrance gate will be non-operational from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Community Patrol will be on-site to assist with access, but residents are advised to use the Skylink entrance for more expedited entry.

The Solar Project kicked off today! This week, crews are starting the overhead solar array at the Equestrian Center. Other structures are planned for the Canyon Lake Lodge and Canyon Lake Country Club. These solar panels have no upfront cost for the Canyon Lake POA and will generate over one million kilowatt-hours of clean energy. Read more about this project at www.clpoa.com/solarproject .

The gas pumps at Happy Camp will be closed on Friday, January 6, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an annual leak test required by South Coast AQMD. The pumps will reopen after 1 p.m.

The Canyon Lake POA is now accepting bids for the second phase of the Pickleball Courts, adding two additional courts. All bids for this project are due by February 2 before 2 p.m. A job walkthrough will be conducted on January 10 at 10 a.m. at the project site. As a reminder, there is designated motorcycle parking off the Main Gate at the Senior Center, off the East Gate at Eastport Park, and off North Gate near the Operation office. Motorcycles must be parked in designated parking areas at all times. Motorcycles parked outside of these designated areas will be cited.

The basketball courts at Eastport Park will be closed from December 29 through mid-January for resurfacing. Weather permitting the target date the basketball courts will re-open on Saturday, January 7.

Please be advised that the visitor lane at Main Gate will be closed on Wednesday, November 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for the installation of a new microphone for the audio system. If you have visitors coming during this time, please advise them to use East Gate or North Gate.

EVMWD will be completing system upgrades in Canyon Lake on Wednesday, November 16 beginning at 4 a.m. through Thursday, November 17 at 6 p.m. During this time, please limit water use to essential activities only. The final Adjourned Special Meeting of the Members for Tract 3961 was held on Wednesday, November 2. There are 122 members in Tract 3961. 78 ballots were received.
